2012
This marks the fourth full year of business for Motorola Rapid Prototyping Services, and it follows a year of solid growth that has improved our position in most of our key markets. Our business grew steadily throughout 2011, with revenues up significantly. We added many new customers while continuing to provide our established customers with the level of quality and responsiveness they have come to expect from us.
Last year also saw our transition from Motorola, Inc. to Motorola Solutions, Inc. (NYSE: MSI), a company with a clear focus on its commercial, industrial and government customers that continues eight decades of Motorola history.
For 2012 we will continue to focus on our customer set, while consolidating gains we have made in operational areas from investment in new hardware and software, further staff education and teaining, and enhanced process integration.
We have six exhibition venues and three speaking venues scheduled for the year, with additional participation planned for several industry user groups and advisory boards. This is a busy year in terms of U.S. trade events, including both the National Plastics Exhibition (NPE) - which will be held in a new Orlando, Florida venue, and the Internaltional Manufacturiung Technology Show (IMTS) - at its usual home in Chicago, Illinois.
We continue to be optimistic about the U.S. and world economies, and believe that trends in the market, combined with our positioning and investments, will continue to deliver positive opportunities for us in 2012.
Sincerely,
Steve Spanoudis
Operations Manager,
